We believe Christ commanded baptism by immersion of the believer in water. Baptism sets forth the believer's identification with Christ in his death, burial and resurrection.

When we become Christians we automatically become a member of the larger community of faith often referred to as the Church, but what we are talking about here is becoming a member of the local church...this local church.
